Opportunity to be the one of the first vertically-integrated producer and processor of hemp and high-grade CBD oil from an organic, fully licensed Jamaican farm. Currently, 10 acres of hemp are growing, with 28 full and part time employees on site. Jamaica has the optimal tropical weather to grow organic hemp. It experiences heavy rainfall throughout the year, with the peak season being from August to November. As a result, the farm can produce up to four crops per year. Farm labor costs in Jamaica are lower in cost than in the United States. In addition, local labor pools have strong knowledge of the crop. Jamaica has few restrictions on the hemp industry and encourages growing hemp on farmland because it is less-erosive and soil-regenerative. The farm, when fully operational, will grow hemp and produce hemp by-products such as oils, lotions, scrubs and other wellness products. The farm encompasses 136 acres with an existing 100’ X 30’ greenhouse, that is equipped with fans, lights and all grow materials needed, and existing offices for security and staff. Three additional greenhouses, a drying building and a full processing facility are slated to make up the remainder of the farm. There is an abundance of water and newly installed infrastructure for power. To complete the build out, in order to get the farm to full capacity, will take approximately four months and $2.5 million. Full build-out plans will be provided to qualified buyers, including the cost of greenhouses, drying, storage and extraction buildings, and harvesting and extraction equipment. 10 acres of the Farm will be allocated for greenhouses for veg and 4 acres will be allocated for drying/curing. The remainder of the usable land, approximately 85+ acres, can be used for outdoor planting, of which 10 acres are currently growing hemp.Owner is available to assist in a transition or manage the facility at market rates. NDA and POF required.
